This coming Thursday, Bjørknes Høyskole receives a special visit by Bede Sheppard, deputy director in the Children's Rights Division of Human Rights Watch. Sheppard specializes in the issues of attacks on students and the militarized use of schools. This seminar inaugurates the Peace and Conflict studies program’s brand new tradition of annual Nobel-related seminars.

Nobel-seminar at Bjørknes Høyskole

It will take place on Thursday at 2:30 pm in classroom 2, and we will be serving coffee and pastries. After this, the Slovak Embassy will have a reception at the Loft, in honor of their velvet revolution, so students can seamlessly eat and drink their way through the afternoon while learning about important topics!

We are very excited to be able to welcome such an internationally renowned expert as Mr. Sheppard to our university college!
