Student life in in Oslo

ONUC is centrally located in Oslo, the capital of Norway, home to more than 700 000 people, and one of Europe’s fastest growing capital.

What is Olso like?

It is situated between the Nordmarka forest and the Oslo fjord and offers both an electric urban environment, as well as easy access to nature activites like skiing, hiking and saunas along the harbour. If the weather is good, many citizens take the public ferry from Aker Brygge to one of the numerous small islands in the Oslo fjord.

Oslo is a multicultural, vibrant and safe Nordic capital with a varied cultural scene. From opera in the state-of-the-art National Opera House to a multitude of restaurants, night clubs and music festivals (a bunch in the summer months), exhibitions and sports events, the choice is yours!

Academically, Oslo has a lot to offer with its wide variety of English-spoken seminars and guest lectures by top international scholars. You can also get cheap flights to anywhere in Europe and beyond, from one of the three international airports close to Oslo.
